louie figone Posted August 29 Posted August 29 Where are you located? American Cylinder Head in Oakland CA has done a couple for me, they are very familiar with IH tractor cylinder heads. Quote

I have always been happy with their work. Quote
louie figone Posted August 29 Posted August 29 Laf14, you need to find a shop closer to home, it would cost a fortune to ship the head to the West Coast. Quote
Binderdan Posted August 30 Posted August 30 Midwest Cylinder Head in Nevada, Iowa is a place that repairs cracks in cylinder heads, and is a lot closer to you than California. I have not used them personally but I know of a few who have. Quote
Tad Wicks Posted August 31 Posted August 31 It not really unusual for a few small bubbles to appear, compression gasses can squeak by, It's when coolant starts coming out stack and you have black dots covering the hood that you know you have a problem. Quote
