mrfred54 Posted August 2 Posted August 2 Just had my first experience with a TA about a month ago. While disassembling to remove the three jumper tubes I could not get them out. Usually a pair of pliers and a couple of twists and they come out. I ended up taping them and using a slide hammer to remove them. Found out during the rest of TA removal, the TA casting was in two pieces. Only thing holding it was the three jumper tubes. Have never seen that happen before. I can’t figure out why the casting would break but after close inspection the input shaft was also twisted. This was a 966 and had to be brutally abused at one time is all I can figure out. The customer had just purchased the tractor knowing it needed some work. Hy capacity didn’t even want the core 1 Quote
