660 power assist steering leaking

I inherited a 660 international from my grandfather when he passed. We are trying to get to tractor ready for shows. When I got the tractor the power steering assist lines were looped together. I hooked the lines back to the cylinder and it started leaking from where the lines go on. When I looked at the fitting it has j i c to what looks to be some kind of straight thread. When I examine the fittings they had copper washers on the bottom of them I replaced the copper washers with new ones and it still leaks. My question is is it supposed to be copper washers or are they supposed to be seals on the bottom of these fittings. It looks to me like the fluid is coming out from around where the fittings screw into the cylinder. It flows up from where the fitting screws in and also out the little drain hole right under the valve. Any input would be welcomed for somebody that maybe knows a little bit more about these steering setup thank you

Have a feeling that whole valve assembly could use resealing but don't take my word for it. This would be worthy of a thread in tech talk section. Get more traffic.

The nepotism kid has sucked so much  (pertinent )out of the parts books. its hard to find correct #, detail

without you knowing what fittings it has , or us without eyes or pic's on the subject is very hard to say what you have going on there. it was a common thing for that control to leak , and if it was just the sealing rings on the fittings i am sure you would be able to figure that out.  i have seen all kinds of different fittings there that were farmerized.

Leaking out weep hole tells me he has more than the fittings leaking.
