Time for the new be question.

I forgot to shut off the fuel on my 656, and when I started it fuel and oil shot out of the blow by tube.
I shut it down right away.
my question is could I have a bad injector pump or is the fuel leaking past the injector tubes.
thanks

Hello

dont have a 656 but would suspect every RM pump to have leakey seals.IF you had tubes ? like a 466? I believe even those can only leak under high pressure.

Get in line/make an appointment to have your pump and inj serviced as/where, recommended here.

In mean time re post this page to main forum as this is for forum/computer issues (not a "mechanical TECH" section) then ask for a delete here

Yeah this forum is for support in using/accessing the site. Tractor questions are best placed in Technical IH Talk.

But most assuming your tractor is a diesel, yes, the injection pump needs to be resealed. Fuel can run right out the front of it and straight into the engine.
