nepoweshiekfarmalls Posted February 10, 2024 Posted February 10, 2024 I have only seen plastic on those tractors. Not sure, but I think the metal ones are aftermarket. Like the hood ornament on my 1486 was black plastic, but I replaced it with a custom steel chrome one. Quote

I have two tractors from that era & one with metal & one plastic. I think both aftermarket. Not sure why it appears so many need replacement - - here in southern Indiana with lots of trees, sure. But lots of Farmall land without a tree in sight. Thank you! Quote
