  1. I got some pictures of our equipment to today. David Brown 990 Farmall 504 Case 970 John Deere 2010
  2. Mom AND Dad always said that!
  3. Went to TSC yesterday. This is what they have for Ertl toysNo IH or Case Tractors, other than pulling tractors. Also was looking on EBay and found this. Is this something worth buying? Or would I just be throwing money away?
  4. You can always use more tractors! I see an old tractor, and I tell my dad, we could use this. To which he responds with a 2 minute explanation on why we don't need it. And I give up and only dream.
  5. I agree! So joking is fun, but know when to draw the line. Here is my Grandpa's 1947 Farmall H. We also have a Farmall 504, Case 970 John Deere 2010 Narrow front, and a David Brown 990. I only have a picture of the H right now. If you strain to see, the 970 is in the background of the last picture. You can also sort of see the David Brown 990, but it is just the front end.🤷‍♂️
  6. My uncle would say when you questioned a story, Its my lie, I will tell it the way I want.
  7. What is the diamond looking sticker on the front for?
  8. Sam Hill is popular in my dad's vocabulary as well.
  9. This is a couple of pieces of equipment that I have on display and their stories. The Chevy 2500 was a Christmas present, same as that trailer. The Case 1845c Skid Loader I found in a "used and abused" bin at a toy show. The cylinders that tilt the bucket are cracked, but it is a overall nice skidloader. The John Deere 35G mini excavator was bought at a local John Deere dealership. They had a kids day, so toys were some percentage off. The John Deere bat wing mower was a birthday gift. The Case 1370 I bought at the National FFA convention this past fall. $13 after tax, the same amount I paid for a cold pretzel and a Powerade.
  10. No, The farthest west I've been is Texas. I know it's a southern state, but that's the furthest I've ever been. I show hogs and feeder calves at fair, so we don't take many vacations. I hope to get out west sometime. There is this one local vendor that comes to Country Fest every June that has good custom barns and toys. They are Windy Hill Farm Toys out of Liberty Indiana. I also go about 1 & 1/2 hours away to a Farm Power of the Past show, and they have great toy vendors. Thank you guys again for all the help!
  11. Dalton's have a 66 series set for $16. Thank you guys for double checking this information!
  12. Thank you guys. I was going to buy it. How much money do you figure I would save?
  13. This set is from stamp n toys. I only want the tractors. So I asked one of their sales reps? He said that each tractor is $7, with $12 shipping. Therefore, if I bought all 4 tractors, if would be $40. I am thinking that I only want the IH tractors. The models are: IH Farmall 1466 w/ROPS Canopy, an IH Farmall 1066 w/ROPS Canopy, an IH 756 open station, and a JD 430 Crawler
  14. I've never looked at Daltons website. I'll have to do that. Will report what I find!🫡
  15. Thank you, I have been looking through their website for 2 ish years. Wanting to buy, but being too cautious/nervous to actually do it. 😅
  16. I just looked it up and for me It would be an 8 hour drive. Like I said, would love to eventually go, maybe after I graduate as a treat!
  17. Ok, I will ask my 4H advisors. They would be able to get me that information. You guys have been really helpful. Does your fair have any restrictions or guidelines?
  18. Thank you guys. I have always wanted to go, but it will probably happen when I am older.🤷‍♂️
  19. Not to be intrusive, but I like these displays. I have a thread about 1/64 toys displays ,and if you want I could use some advice. I am building one for the first time and the end product will be finished in late July. Any and all advice is appreciated!
  20. Do you paint over the cab of the truck, or do you work with what is already there?
  21. I do agree. I have always really wanted a WHITE tractor, but those are a bit pricey. I also like looking at the salvage yard.
