dirtyoily Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I inadvertently shifted my 1466 to high range 4 while at low rpm’s. The tractor immediately died when I released the clutch. The tractor will turn over but won’t start. What could possibly be the problem? I’m absolutely stumped! thanks for your suggestions!!!! Quote

Check your fuel level, and move the throttle lever all the way over to "Fast". Try starting again. If your batteries are low now from cranking it you might have to charge them. If that doesn't do it please report back. 1 Quote
brahamfireman Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago If it was hot your injection pump's probably shot. Pour cold water on pump or wait for it to cool. Quote
Haystack Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Sounds like ya killed it hard enough it sucked air into the fuel system. Crack the bleeder on top of the filter housin and work the hand primer til ya get solid fuel no bubbles, then crack a line at an injector while somebody bumps the starter. Should fire right off.
