    Lets say the New equipment that was to be unveiled at the farm progress show in 85 miraculously turned everything around for IH and the farm economy turned around at the same time maybe what would have happened. ......

    Ok. This part of the state yes is more of a sandy loam topsoil mix and many have the misconception that it is easy to plow and to some extent yes it makes for a nice plowday but don't let that innocent sandy topsoil fool you. It can pull quite hard when moist or mixed with a little clay. Pretty much from Goldsboro or Interstate 95 East it is some of the Best soil you will find in any part of this state. And the best part is NO rocks and its Flat.
