Just picked up this 574, price was right ($500), needs a head gasket for sure, hoping it doesn't need a head or that the liners are cooked out of it, it's got coolant in the oil, sat for about 10 years, a battery, a snort of ether, and it fired up and ran alright to drive onto the trailer... I think it's got a bad priority valve or MCV, it has steering but no loader operation.. With such bad oil in the engine I wasn't going to run it any more than I absolutely had to so I wasn't going to troubleshoot it. I'll go over the front end and make sure that's all good, some driveshaft U joints, only has 4500 hours so should have lots of life left with a little TLC
Here's our rebuilt 684, that's the front grille and steering surround from a Ford County! Paid $350 for that but put weeks of work putting it together
