  1. Yes indeed, that is what the manual states. thanks Found both filling points.
  2. OK, we stand corrected. thank you
  3. Well, the Hydro 84 as we understand it (and reading it in the manual) states that the hyrdostatic transmission fluid and filter are separate from the rear hydraulics filter and reservior, also they have separate draining plugs and filler plugs. So, the specification on the hyrdostatic transmission fluid seems to be a Hyspin 68 or equivalent. Can send you photos of the pages from the manual if you want.
  4. Yes, we have order a drum of Hyspin 68. Will be changing it this week.
  5. Well, update, changed both filters with new Donaldson P550128 filters, these are rated to filter to 40 mircon so will do both the trans and the hydraulics. And yes, all fixed, plenty of power in forward and reverse all the way through the entire power band. Shocking what a lack of maintenance will finally result in. Thanks for the help from the various members.
  6. Hello, we dont know for certain, but strongly suspect (and hope) that this may be the reason, will pick up two new filters on Monday. Suspect that the hydrostatic filter is still the installed one at the factor...4300 hours later. Well, we were told it had been well maintained....obviously, not that well.
  7. Hello, we have owned a Hydro 84 for about 6 months now, and we have been very remiss in not undertaking all the general maintenance. Does anyone have access to a PDF of the operators or factory manual for this model. Any help will be greatly appreciated. It is starting to get sluggish in forward, with no real ability to get up a hill. Its only done about 4300 hours. So we are hoping that we have clogged filters and/or low trans fluid. Otherwise it may be a rebuild on that expensive hydrostatic pump. Qc.Can.IH man had some photos of a manual and have also reached out to them. thanks CMRL.

Hello. We recently acquired a fully operational Hyrdo 84 with 4000 hours. Runs great. Front end loader and a 3 point linkage forklift on the back. Engine starts perfectly every time. Unfortunately a little rusty in the normal places. For yard work you have to love the lack of gears. We are wanting to purchase a workshop service manual if anyone has one available, or a link to a pdf download. Thanks
