Greetings all.
I have a 42 Farmall H distallate tractor that the engine is fouling plugs and using oil. A friend gave me an engine off his scrap Super H that was a runner when parked 30 years ago. The engine is stuck but still had antifreeze in it and uncontaminated oil. My initial plan was to do an inframe rebuild on mine but I'd like to go thru the Super H motor and bolt it in. Have any of you guys tried this? From my research the blocks, heads , gaskets and such look the same. The Super H had been parted out to the point that restoration was unlikely for you guys that are cringing btw :)
