Sledgehammer
I don't think they ever had a factory 4 barrel intake for the 304/345. Read that on a scout forum years ago. That one looks really nice.
Howard_P
The Thermoquad was available on the 345 in the Scout in the late 70s.

They did not offer an oem 4bbl for the 266/304, I believe they have different deck heights than the 345/

Tonyinca
Kevingweq, The door handles/ latches were pretty sloppy . He made some using tractor/truck latch innards. As far as detent I am not sure what was done. That was done last year we discussed latches & hinges quiet a bit but I'll need to check.. I know he cut the door line gap to tighten up and to line the seams. Tony

Tonyinca
Visited the old Binder today. 10/31/16 Much progress even though it does not look it . Last visit we decided bottom of bed needed more work before paint so its getting it. Water pump has been rebuilt & painted. I decided to use same gauges will get them tested and polished, Dash board is painted needs to be buffed before mounting , Vintage air unit arrived and was mocked up to make sue it fit under dash ,it does and will be hidden to most part. New window glass is being cut & made. Brake master cylinder is in paint , found a spacer for the carb he plans to use. Been going through all little parts identifying repairing & painting or chroming as needed. Radiator will be going to shop , I asked to have tanks polished brass if they can be. Fuel tank I prefer to have new ,if not we'll do the radiator shop clean etc. Wire harness is ordered. Had to get another harmonic balance old one damaged. TroyDairy
Are you going to do a 4bbl type efi system tony? There are some super slick units available now. And being a occasional driver it would be nice. I think I may have asked this before.....

Tonyinca
Thank You Mark, I Think We found a set of new Manifolds ,If so, we'll CermiKote To match intake. Next week I hope to get my I.T. guy out here to correct this picture posting problem . I think its on my side, not on RPF. I have many more pic's of latest progress that I was going to send to you Mark . Its been a long haul watching the sanding and body work and finding parts but its getting very exciting now. Rob says very close to finish by end of year. I 'll try to not hold my breath. However, I know the time and set backs on my 806 project and its my only focus, much less Rob with many projects. Fella in last pic is Richard, Robs main paint buffing man. I have to say all of His employees seem to have a interest in this Binder because like they say we never done one and people come in and wonder what it is.
