I believe so Mark,  I had a couple pictures of one and he had a idea and together come up with scheme.

I think he wants to use the same scheme on covers & tailgate.  He says going to use red & black on engine with plated bolts . Cermichrome Exhaust.

BTW Mark, we are giving rear end little higher gear ratio so highway travel not so whinny.

That higher gear will be nice. Let her cruise a it more.

I hope so because these Binders get to 50 and they let you know .lol.

Here is a pic of a nicely done engine imho . I showed it to Rob and he said he has few ideas roaming in his head.

Love those rocker covers. B)

Personally I would try the silver section around the letters in white - very 'Inter'. However the silver looks great and ties in with the intake manifold nicely.

   Your right.

Sure do like that red cab!!!   I know this ain't the right time but I have a off the wall question....I'm guessing you'll put rubber floor mats in the truck. Will they be full coverage type or separate driver and passenger side mats?  Like I said this is way ahead of time frame, but just curious......lol

Tony , Are you going to use any of the "sound deadening" or insulation materials available in the aftermarket ?

Some dynamat does wonders.  Looks good.....was surprised to see body matched trans.  Most are black or gray/silver.  Iirc you were going to put a higher gear set in the diff so the ol IH will go 65 easily.  Have you looked at maybe running a Gear Vendors overdrive unit?  Pretty slick unit and appear quite reliable.  Just thinking out loud and it would be nice for a cruise out to Pismo.

We talked about the overdrive . Rob checked on it came up with gear set. I'll find out more this week I hope.

         Thanks Guys,

Hey just trying to spend your money the best way we see fit!!  :rolleyes:;)

A higher ratio gear set will be adequate for sure.  The trans gearing is pretty low if I remember from rides.  Man it will look cool when done!  What were you doing for wheels again?  Steelies and chrome?  22" black ones?  13" wire spokes?

That probably all depends on how much leeway he gives the paint shop guys Troy

Just saying that I have a blower from a 671 droptroit we parted out. I think it would be neat to see it used

  • 2 weeks later...

We found a used four barrel intake manifold for the 345. The one I had was a two barrel and seems most are two's.

Had it CermiKote , Receiving Re- Chromed items.

Guys are buffing doors in prep to hanging them.
