This one belongs to Butch Aycock in Mckinney Tx. His brother and himself bought this 1456 gold demo and their dad bought a matching red 1456 from Meadors Imp in Whitewright TX. Few unique things about it is, its a factory TA delete, has front mount Aux hyd hook ups and has a narrow front axle center tube. Jims is the only other 1456 gold demo factory TA delete i know of. The motor is currently being overhauled by boardmember Eric Farley. Farley use to work at Meadors Imp back in the late 70s and 80s.

OOPS ,My Bad! I did not pay attention to the two different serial numbers. I just glanced on the first two numbers and assumed same number. lol.

ANOTHER ONE? Thanks for the post & pictures - can't wait to see both of them all gold again. Which was more desirable a Bosch or Roosa Master?

You three guys get your 14 Gold's done You'll be the 1456 Gold capital.

Will need to do a show out there. I think Jim has enough I.H.'s to warrant the price of admission for a three day show.

Hope to see them all done.

Best wishes,

Tony

I watched a report on these demonstrators, and they said that while the tractors were supposed to be repainted, they never repainted them under the hood. So, if you look under the hood and it's painted gold, you got one!!!

Also, watch for the black console. There are still some out there and the owners don't know what they have.

Is there serialization to the goldens?

No. None that was ever found yet. There is still a lot of IH history at the University of Wisconsin in Madison at the IH archives that has never been sorted through. Just maybe that serialization might be in there somewhere. Who knows?????

Hello guys, new member here. My dad, brother and I attended the Mecum auction this weekend in Davenport, IA. Anyway, we came home with 1456 Gold Demonstrator #13314. Does anyone here have any details or documentation of its restoration and history?

Thank you

Jason - 1456Gold

Welcome to forum!.  I would get in touch with Long Farms. He mentioned back in 2016 in this thread he knew about your new purchase,# 13314 Gold 1456 that it was a Goldie.

I ll have to watch Mecum on RFD. Maybe we will see you buying it!
