Mike,

Thanks for the pictures of the foot rests. not sure what happened to mine if they every existed. My guess is that my Uncle Jack took them out to have some more room.

Your paint job looks fantastic!

Regards,

 Chris

The grip oddly enough were still intact. I am trying to replicate the clutch lever with JB weld to match. I'll post it if I can make it look good

Mike,

Did you get the lights from Rex? I decided to go a different direction and try to get newer style reflectors and bulbs from Steiner's. Time will tell. I did find theses odd large ring base bulbs at Steiners also.

 Chris

Sugarmaker. I ordered the bulbs 3 weeks ago and I still havnt seen them.  Damned Brits!

So Stieners has replacement reflector and bulbs for these crawlers lights?

Mike,

I am keeping my fingers crossed on the Steiner parts.

I did order the items you have marked in blue, the clips and contacts. Plus reflectors, gasket, and 12 volt headlight bulbs.

I used the search function in Steiner's site to find the bulbs and the reflectors. Some of these were not IH items. I don't have them yet. I will post some pictures when I get them. The reflector is 6.5 inches across (they say for a 7 inch light) and that is the size I need. Just hoping its going to fit! It has the socket for a newer bulb type. Will see if this was a good move. I have all the part numbers if you need them?

You might want to check with Rex. For some reason my PAYPAL did not go through with them.

Your lights look great!

Regards,

 Chris

@sugarmaker did you get Stiener lights products yet?

Mike,

Yes I have the light reflectors, bulbs and gasket from Steiner's and have installed them. (pictures in my thread on the TD6 dozer loader). I have not put power to the bulbs yet but everything seemed to fit and was here in a timely manner. Hope that helps.

 Regards,

 Chris

Mike,

That new clutch handle really looks good, along with the rest of your work too! You do nice detailed work! I also see your steering levers way forward. Mine were like that and I moved them back but thinking about moving them forward again due to no room for my knee between the clutch and the steering lever when trying to hit the brake for a left turn.

Sure is going to be a great looking dirt mover!

Regards,

 Chris
