Thanks, awesome, it hard to imagine a brand new one. How does the advertised BG 265 motor compare to the BD 264?

You have some nice truck brochures Kevin. I have a few truck ads mixed in with all my other vintage ads. Here is one. About 1973?

Yes Kevin.....some interesting old stuff there...

Back in the 60's ,I used to subscribe to the "Field and Stream " magazine and " Outdoor Life " magazine...one or both ...(its been awhile...)always featured full page IH pickup and / or Travelall adverts....These always took my attention...and eventually after having new Australian built IH pickup...I got some years later, an genuine US built pickup...(still have it...)....IHC New Zealand brought in about 15 odd "1200"" 3/4 ton Ambulance cab and chassis...for the St John ambulance service...

The ambulance body was built up over the original cab profile.....thus enabling one to bring the truck back to something like new....except , of course the deck....I built a steel flat deck with drop sides etc...

The cab/chassis 's were all right hand drive ...to conform with our "British" driving heritage.....:rolleyes: ....(yes...we always drive on the "right " side of the road....:mellow: )

Mike
