mader656
Hadn't heard much. About your fires. It doesn't affect cities so it's not important. Did notice a hazy smokiness to the sky today... We're so wet you can't burn anything. It's like it's may it it's so wet.

Were foreguessed to have cool wet July We could use some rain and it cooling off. Just in the areas north of Fairbanks we are looking at a quarter million acres burnt. Some of those fires they are not fighting, it’s nature we have better weather forecast, but I will believe it when I see it.

mader656
If you know a good welder you can build something to hold the post I'd copy the holder on a protech evo driver...(if money was no object id have one with GPS...) Sorry about the fires it's painful to think about how much less bad the fires would be if they had just logged....

The weather guesser actually stated it was the warmest month in 5 years the other day. really reaching.

poor farmer/logger
I hope the white stuff stays away from here for a little while yet. Won’t be long through I’m afraid. The ground is starting to freeze up here now. In the shade today it was ice all day long.

It’s been a fairly mild fall for us, and we don’t have any snow in fairbanks yet so maybe we will slow it down. But things are freezing, ground is getting harder, and winter s coming

AKwelder
Got a text from the neighbors, wolf pack attacked a dog within a 1/4 mile of the house this weekend. Only reason the dog survived is the guy went out and intervened. Several caught on security cameras, sigh, and a couple seen on the road. They are going to start killing people’s pets again, and then it will escalate very quickly. The wolves should have a good coat this time of year but I want a shotgun, I think I want a 410 or 20 ga in semi auto.
Sledgehammer
A 410 might just anger a wolf. I like a 410 but it isn’t meant for distance or power.
