Looks like one most berry guys run here.  Nowdays if they have a mini ex they put a jackhammer on the QA and weld a heavy cone to the tip.  Then they go down row and swing rt and lf doing 2 post per stop.  And that hammer.....it maaayybe 5 sec a post!  2 guys holding post that are pre layed and one on machine.  So...moral of the story.. you need a mini to fix all your ideas.  Ill tell her even so she'll understand

Broken welds on hammer, cracks, worn slide on hammer odd wear. All three hardest to fix, the rest is just hoses and bushings. Ive never been around a ezeeon so that's just drivers in General.

Post drivers literally beat themself to death.

Okay, I can look it over for that, do they all have springs that break? I seem to remember someone having fun trying to replace them, you?

Just keep your distance from anywhere near a pinch point on a pounder. We have a Shafer HD8 and it gives me the willies at times just thinking about the possibilities

No springs on that style. We have a flexi coil at work that is identical to that. It's just weight on the top and gravity that does the pounding. Just check for cracks and leaking line, cylinders, and valves. Pretty straightforward.

Well I called and spoke to Dave.  He is going out to his farm this afternoon with a fresh battery to get his tractor started and will give me a call.  We will be able to run it,  so this is perfect. A lot better than that hand driver and a new shoulder in my future

pretty amazing deal, and very desolate back then.

After court today today I picked up my packages of bees, 12 packages of bees in the back seat driving home,  let’s just say I was careful driving home to not tick off the 120,000 plus bees

Summer is here.  And my deck is about done.  Well my wife agreed with it being time to replace it. But there were a few questions and some cleaning.  Enter the logic of the callous hands. If I tear it down, we will have to do something.

My wife hates to throw things away, and asked for us to keep the railings. Sure,

I put it on the trailer. And tore more off

Just curious, has anyone heard about the Alaska wild fires.?

We we have had some subdivisions evacuate, over 1 million acres burn, and the smoke is so thick you can’t see in Fairbanks.  Most of us are in no danger, but there have been some neighborhoods where they were told to leave.

The Hess Creek fire, along the Dalton is almost 150,000 acres, and growing

Hadn't heard about the fires, but did hear about your record setting high temp's. Your skeeders will have to start carrying water tanks to keep cool! Are some of these fires going to be put out by the first snow fall?

Yeah, the skeeters are thin this year.  Very dry

bad part is you are very right.  The snow is what will put out the fires, we hope.

Welder----

I've got neighbors who just returned from a guided bear hunt in Alaska.  (stayed at Stephan Lake Lodge northeast of Talkeetna).  But flew out elsewhere to hunt.

So unique to hear their story-------they hunted from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM (saying it never really got dark).  Just the opposite from our legal hunting hrs down this way.

Were bow hunting  for Grizzly.  Didn't get the grizzly------ but got a nice black bear.

They are already scheduled for going back next year.  (gotta get the grizzly ?)

Before going-----I suggested they mix some doe in heat scent with honey and apply liberally to their feet.  But-------- don't think the wife let him try it!!!?
