AKwelder
Life has been simple here, sorry for not posting much, but we have just been. Kids go to school, we go to work, nothing to post i did submit my eldest son for his first moose hunt drawings, proud Father Time. If if he is drawn we get to hunt two weeks before the season for a cow, and will have a big summer getting ready. He will need to get his rifle sited, scout the hunt, set up a camp, and do a few recon trips
Sledgehammer
Sounds like a dream come true for a kid who likes to hunt

On real cold days the FEL rams will always work before the power steering will. I'm not sure, but are they supplied by different pumps ? I have no hydraulic issues during the rest of the year though. Do you keep your tractors in a shed or shop ? The steering is on the front pump, or mcv pump. So yes they are separate. We keep the tractor in the shop if there's room but usually we got things in there to fix so most of the time they're outside. The last couple years we never put the tractor in the shop unless to work on it. And the steering is just as quick whether it's in the shop or not. I went last night and clean off the bed for towing it home. That is when I spent an hour sorting thru the parts the idiot left out, he took all the bolts out of the alternator (and we don't know where they are) pressed all the wrist pins out, disassemble the heads, he has to be mentally unstable. Truck update got a bit today so I popped the hood, leaking o ring on gas fuel injection rail. Fixed. Waiting for the torpedo heater to warm her up and we will see what we have
AKwelder
6 inches of snow, lets fire up the 460 and away we go. Plowed out the driveway, the road in front of the house, (if you let those contract grader operators do it they tear everything up), and off to the in laws, ended up running right at 3 hours of seat time great day, and the plane takes off on Tuesday night, off to Florida with stops in both directions in Minnesota for family, Christmas, and another surgery for my oldest boy. AKwelder
When I get back we had a very sudden deceleration with the blade and a bracket popped. Well, I made the blade and posted a few pictures quit a few pages back, I pull back in the yard and stop to see the damage, my wonderful wife comes over, assess the damage and says "Weld failure? Huh. You should beat the welder who did that!" nothing like being married to the queen of sarcasm

Not much snow, maybe a fluffy foot, nothing I would take my sled out in anyways. Here or the mountains My son was running his mini around the yard, came walking back and said something went bad, he must have hit something because the skis are pointing different ways. Boys did he, it had popped the ball joint off the steering and the one ski was point to the back and flopping. We fixed it and he rode more. But that was in the yard
