Just a couple snap shots to show us gaining daylight 

Yesterday

6 minutes a day, it will get to 8.

right now we gain about 45 minutes a week.

A friend’s mom had a Newfoundland that was so big I thought it was a black bear. Turned out that was the dog’s name - Bear. Thing loved people and rewarded you with a pint of slobber if you petted it.

Saw a quad track on the north slope today

The tv said it was spring, well not here in the north

They sure are something. The owner said he was 220#, and being at the hotel he had been around lots of people. He had some great stories

Curiosity, what are they hauling? More snow?

I wasn’t sure, looked like gravel/rock. They had come across the tundra (they use the low ground pressure quad tracks for travel on the tundra to limit disturbance to the environment) and were headed in towards the main camps.
