AKwelder Posted June 5, 2016 Author Posted June 5, 2016 Oh, our peonies are not budded yet, but they are still young. We hope they bloom in late July, that is the best time for sales for us. August is better. By September there are other areas adding to the market and the price drops. Of course we are still 3 years from selling our first crop, it's a long term crop like orchards Quote
AKwelder Posted June 6, 2016 Author Posted June 6, 2016 And the fuel system is acting up. It won't fill the bowl so I wanted to open it up and clean the valve so I siphon the fuel out. Blow everything out and clean it all the way to the carb Quote
AKwelder Posted June 6, 2016 Author Posted June 6, 2016 Cleaned out the tracks and prep the hoe for return My helper for moving it. He did real well and got hooked on it. I guaranty he will be there next time a large piece of iron shows up Quote
AKwelder Posted June 11, 2016 Author Posted June 11, 2016 Weekend two begins with the new flower patch. Spent last evening preparing and then today, started by taking my oldest boys to breakfast, just the two of us. Then rented a dozer. Pushed and graded, back bladed, mucked out the brush & spoils piles, track packed and repeated it as needed. Meanwhile trucks were hauling for the driveway and between loads I hooked up the disc to Fritz (460) and got things loosened up. At the day's end it looked pretty good. more flowers and work tomorrow Quote
TroyDairy Posted June 11, 2016 Posted June 11, 2016 Dirt looks pretty good. Need some manure and you can get some super flowers! Quote

How silly of me to question things. So we had Father's Day. Friday as we see the Father's Day adds in the paper, hmm. Had a wonderful Father's Day breakfast this morning. Again. Quote
