bitty
I got pictures now I will have to send them to my sweet bride to have her put them on as I am not capable of that yet. Have to find a electro hyd joystick setup yet. Came with hoses to run from center to rear remotes. Has 4 remotes and eventually I want those and the joystick. Need 4 remotes for pulling the 30' mandako roller , want to leave the loader on also
Earl Miller
Tony and others, Looking at a 8950 with what says 4000 hours on it, Looks to have a lot more, Is there another hour meter on the Tractor that shows Hours? Does it have a Engine ECU that would log hours also? It has a Cummins 8.3L could Cummins connect to the unit with software and check? Not trying to highjack the thread but seeing your set up I was hoping that you would have some information. Thanks - Earl

When it gets to 9,999 hours it then turns to 0 and starts over. We have 5 that have done that already. So if it looks like it, it would more than likely be 14,000 hours. I saw one sell at fraleys consignment sale this spring said 6,xxx and I am sure it has 10,000 more . Interested in seeing what the jockey that bought it will advertise it as having
Earl Miller
Bitty - Thanks this is what I was thinking. I'll jump back off of Tony's thread. Tony, I don't post on here much as you can see, but I have been a long time reader of Red Power (Years) and enjoy your thread. Keep up the Post and all of the Pictures, this day to day log is interesting to myself along with many others. I'm sure that it is time consuming to keep new subjects to post, but to me it is great and I enjoy the day to day things that people do. BTW it does not have to be something new, just the day to day things the you do are fun to watch. Thanks again.
TroyDairy
Thanks Earl and Bitty is right. 1 meter...no ecm..best thing about them! Cant sleep...rib/back issue from mail jeep "event" few years ago. For some reason I put a low bid on a pretty used 02 s10 crew cab pick up. From a bigger (45000 ac irrigated) LDS farm by Pasco WA. Looks perfect for a run around rig. Yeah....I got it. So we thought it would be a fun long weekend and bummed the neighbors car trailer and are hotelling it tonight. Tomorrow we need to rethink arrangements. I could of did a 14 hour day and got it but the girls love pools and hotels. Its raining good so no mowing will be done. Seen these at the cih dealer today..... Never seen this. ...looks factory like. Not barn yard We have clamp ons on the 170 and this would be better i think

Are they to save your tires from bunker wall? Never seen that before. Orin
TroyDairy
Well...you mean the 4 rods? They looked like normal Unververth clamps. The center thing is ?? I could not decide if they were custom or factory. A 7/8 reddy rod was screwed into a nice made axle mount. The butterfly is a heavy wingnut. Then a little chain keeps it from turning. Dang winch on neighbors trailer was doa. Had to feather the petal to get it on. Wont idle. No noises though so not to fretting. The bed is cracked b/c tool box too tight. No flex and they crack at top side welds. Tailgate is doa. Back doors wont open. Perfect for UTV duty.

TroyDairy
Cleaned up ok. Sun and chem water sure flattened out the paint. May wax it...once. friend scanned it.....#1 missing. Looks oem..120k. Coolant leak is a heater hose fitting. ABS controler says it may be bad. 3 of 4 doors open. 4wd feels operational. Tires good, drives real good actually. Needs drivers seat and mirror. Little undercover Mexican car shop has a blazer with the motor tore down. Been there for year + so I am gonna ask Luis for some parts. Prob have him tune it up and do a trans flush. Like $20/hr rate! Was a Chrysler tech in Mexico. All little low paid employee damage stuff. TroyDairy
Noticed last night a .22 bullet hole in passenger door. They patched it with a piece of tin and rivets in the skin. The door panel has a clear exit hole. I dont see where it went though. So either it is a sharp stick thing that went through or door was open. It is clearly dented a bit in so what ever made the hole was going from outside to inside. They had patched it with that tin and bondo so I thought it was just a good ding. Till I looked closer. If they could talk!

Orchard6
A kid I went to high school with bought a truck from an auction once that had a bullet hole thru the tailgait, front of the box and thru the drivers seat! Looked like 223, no blood though, must have washed it out good!

If you 'visit' you bosses wife and bring whiskey and he comes in to find you trying to get her drunk enough for "activity" a 12g will ruin your door as you drive....speed away! Its getting worse for us in ag too. Pay 13-15/hr...way more than roofers etc. but it's work. And with the current admin deporting the maximum they can budget wise we lose 390000 people a year. Legal or not they basically say, "Fight or go home? Be hard fight" THey pick go home from fear even if their papers are sitting at home. Bush (Progressive guy......) deported 30000. If you wanted to run home an show them papers they did basically. That's rub of mine. If I get pulled over I do not need to show proof of citizenship so why does a guy with a accent? Kinda backward imo. But work....kids are so worthless today. The new guy is a off the truck guy so I bet he'll work out well.
