Gearclash
Are there covers seeded under the corn? If so what is there and how is it applied? Or is it “naturally occurring cover?” LOL!
bitty
Is that an 8 row? I got a call two days ago and was offered a 970 Class for 80K with a hay and 8 row head. 3900 hours on the main engine. Have a safe harvest and hopefully you get a good enough yields to carry you through

TroyDairy
Busy week. Got our grass done (6th). Custom guys driver fianlly had a accident. The entire ag community said this guy needs to go. My friend was in the dumptruck. Said he had to come in on the round a bout at 40. It slid 20'+ and hit the 2018 KW he was driving and pushed it few feet. New kw hoods are multi piece so should need a fender and etc to be going. The silage truck was a 80s 900 and rough already. Box prob ok truck done. Idiot tow truck "operator" did more damage than wreak my friend who they were chopping for said. He wrapped stap through the door opening to tip up. After smashing all the clearance lights an noticing the cab tweaking he stopped. Buddy asked if he would like to use his tractor since he would of did a better job than that. Kid got hurt a bit but nothing major. He had been called 2x that day to slow down. Other drivers said they knew it was coming. Truck got impounded. Our peat field was kinda soft.....drug every load though this 100x100yd area. This one had to be dumped...ended up digging bumper out then getting out. Helped friends with their silage too. They have 5 garbage trucks. This one was free! Friends (dentist) 5yo boy. He was excited he had just watched a vid on building combines! And he got some mt dew...dentist kids.? Brake line on my farmtruck rusted out. Dont know anyone who has ever replaced one ever locally. In Canada its common with salt. I went 3 pieces and routed new one. Without removing bed and alot of swearing i couldn't see running a oem one.

Cant see any shepherd in any of his siblings.

TroyDairy
Well that fun ended. The curse of paying over 50 bucks for a dog (125 this one...he wanted 300) continues. Had bump size of marble behind neck (in tractor pic you can see it on lf side) I felt Saturday when we got him from wifes kin. It grew...oh oh....bet he vacc with same needle. Called him...yep same old needle from the med cab in the barn. Thur pm it now is golf ball and he hate touching it. Vet was around area so he quick looked. Antibiotics and see. Fri morning...hey bud its now baseball (5# mutt) sized. Ill be by later. Cut 4 slits..huge abscess of fluid/goop from dirty needle. Tied some surgical strapes though to keep holes draining. He had student vet today so she helped at least. More antibiotics....he is hurting scooter now. Lets hope this is it. Oh and cousin says he will give kids money back(from corn sales). I said hold on.....the $ was for the shots basically anyways. Lesson learned....sometimes deals dont work out smooth!

I'm sure that the girls have dealt with this kind of loss before, but this one has to be a little more difficult. So sorry for them. You and the missus too. TroyDairy
What a day! Cousin's wife felt so bad about whole deal they went and got a lab pup from another family around the area (own the sale barn) for my girls. $0! He remembers that our pup got the prick of the needle then fought him. He ended up poking him 3x trying to vacc him. Vet said "there you go" more you poke more chance of issues. So the tears are gone! Should of seen their faces! Here is Charlie the lab/shorthair pup
