During my IH related US trip in June I met Dick Hatch in Fort Wayne, former leader of the International truck design department, to share some information about his time at IH. In his archive there were some pictures of the brand new Scout which was developed for 1984. This would have been not the Scout SSV!

Have a look at the design drawings as well as the full scale mock up!

i disagree on that one. thats the luxury monteverdi safari. the scout bodies were called the saharas i believe. im pretty sure the safari body style had a 5 year run. basically an ih chasis with the option of a chrysler engine as well.
