Thanks for posting the pics. The first one in the Flickr album of the Whirlwind terrace plow is an entry from Gary Moore of Newark, Ohio. It has been parked in front of his shop in 80% restored condition for a number of years. My brother, noting that the Servus auger attachment was mounted on an IH one bottom plow, thought that it would be a legit IH historical item and would be more than welcome at RPRU. It was very recently repainted and a new drive shaft made to power the auger. Always an item of curiousity when visitors came to Gary's shop, he would tell them it was a "turnip digger". Sometimes asked how it worked, the general response would be: "Don't know. No one has ever planted any turnips around here."

Actually it works marvelously well. See the two videos below for a demonstration. In the first vid, Gary is on my brother's immaculately restored, kerosene- burning 1926 Regular that is also at RPRU parked in the "pre-1939 display" building.
