IH first started calling the 350 hi utility along with the 460. I don't know for sure on the 460 or 606 but the 504 was an International Hi-Clear, The first 656's were a International Hi-Clear, the the later 656's and 544's were a International Row -Crop They all had bar axles on the rear with 38 inch rear tires and swept back front axles with extended spindles to level the front out. All of the utility tractors were badged Internationals and the "Row Crops" were Farmalls. In late 67 when the Farmall 656 was redesigned large farmall name was changed to International and the Farmall was placed over the 656 number on the model designation emblem. Eason

thanks for the information eason so is a high utility the same thing as a high clear or is that a whole other tractor and how do you tell between a high utility and a row crop utility sorry for the more ? but just tryin to get an understanding to all IH's terminology TIA
