What's up with these new members with random letters & numbers for names ? <_<

Clicked on a couple of them and it sends you to a error page saying something about not having permission to look at them .

Spam or just trolls ?

Any way we can spam them back? Wouldn't that be fun! Just jam up their entire network with IH pictures, and the cherry on top would be a message to their IT department that says "greetings from us IH hoodlums, don't @#$%^ with our site again"

What is their purpose, BJ?

They hope they get approved then they will start spreading their spam.

Just giving you a hard time. Mine is my user name for work. Its my first three of my last name and the first letter of my first name then whatever number is next in line for that combo. So I was the second employee with halr..... clear as mud??? It's odd and is never taken plus it's easy for me to remember because I use it everyday.

There`s one on now listed as member since october with no posts. When listed as member means approved?

No it just means they've signed up.

Wouldn't it be even easier to just use your name?

best, randy

Randy, the employer's IT dept generally assigns the user name and they all follow the same protocol : firstname.lastname@company.com or something similar. It gets to be lots of fun if a female has one surname at the time of hire, then changes for whatever reason. Some gals end up having to keep their maiden name as their user name, and more interesting, some get to keep the name of their ex-husband after a divorce.

Whoever you are, you lost me on that, I still haven't seen a valid reason to use "handles" on here, also thinking, haven't seen very many females on here?
