U-C
here is another Swiss tractor brand Buehrer once the largest tractor maker in Switzerland, the company still exists today but only as a service and parts company. The Tractospeed transmission was and still is a masterpiece of Swiss engineering
Loadstar
Haying season here now. I guess in the mid 1950s this Snowco bale loader was a real labour saving device. From 1953.

No , I have only seen the self propelled balers in ads. I don't think they sold many at all here in Sask. The pull type pto balers were very popular though. As was the pull type bale wagons. Saw the occasional self propelled bale wagon too. This ad from 1973.

Yes, there were a surprising number of them sold in eastern Canada, and particularly in Quebec. I saw them as a kid at several of the farm shows in Quebec and eastern Ontario. In fact a local collector near me has two of them stacked away in his collection.
IHhogfarmer
Was at the grandparents house yesterday in hopes to find some old successful farming magazines with some farm equipment ads but I couldn’t find the magazines. I’ll have to have grandpa do a search for me?? I did find this International truck ad. I don’t know the year but I’m thinking late 40’s to early 50’s? This is one sided and it’s made out of cardboard material with plastic around it.

I never saw many of that style around but its a bit before my time too. Might want to put a rain cap on the exhaust of the old V4 Wisconsin. Seems they were notorious for sticking exhaust valves.
