That spreader looks like  it could be the one manufactured by SCHULTZ out of Iowa  we sold them under the Schultz name in the 60s and 70s  the tandem was ridged  just 2 axles bolted solid to the frame. That one was the fancy one ,box extensions ,upper beater attachment and tandems , maybe was rated ate 175 bu or so I don't remember what the extensions added. As our neighbor was a Moline dealer we have seen a few around here.

My dad got this from a neighbor . His in laws had it . He gave it to dad for hauling a couple tractors home. This one was to fit through our barn doors. Instead of carrying pen pack to doors.

Here is was more pre working with a cultivator and then come back next day with the drills. Multiple press drill hook up from 1971 in this ad.

We ALWAYS had duals on the drill tractor, even on something small like a Super M. Used to have like a 2x3 with a chain on each end dangling on the ground on the front of the tractor to drive by.

Seeders in Australia mostly had a row of cultivator tynes in front of the seeding tynes and another row of cultivating tynes behind the seeding ones.

Up until air seeders came in this arrangement was common and provided some weed kill at the same time as sowing the crop.

These seeders were referred to as "combines" in Australia. Not sure if it meant combining some cultivation with seeding or combining seed and fertiliser together as they were put into the ground.

We have now caught up and combines are the big expensive machines for harvesting crops.

We had one, it doesn't matter who came up with the idea they were a nightmare!

Surprisingly there are still a few of them that work here. My brother worked at a New Holland dealership so he learned a lot about the workings of the TR machines.
