axial_al
Just got home from helping my neighbor remove the center section from his 1566. The transmission countershaft broke just behind the nut and allowed the countershaft to roll around on the pto shaft. Other than some rough bearings and about a quart of metal filings, nothing else is wrong. We were a little afraid that a bearing may have turned in the casting from the metal filing overload, but were lucky. The trans didn't even lock up and the tractor was driveable until the filter plugged up from the metal.
