Both were black stripes but they got traded off in 1990 for the first Magnum 7110 I had. I know where 61473 is still about 40 miles from me but I don't know where the other one went. I don’t have either of those on my list. If you know where 61473 is, do you have any information that could be shared to get it listed? FarmerFixEmUp
I bought another 1066 a few months ago on an auction. 1973 model Serial number 41303. Needs some work and paint. 2800 some actual hours according to the owner whose dad bought it new. I also have a 1971 1066, 7389 which I believe you have listed. I've had it since 1995 when I bought it from my dad who got it in the early 80's.

Here is how your tractor falls in on the list. 20641 located in MN near me, your tractor 20724, and 20774 was sold on auction in Illinois in April. Could I get your last name and city you live in to finish your information? You can personal message me if you prefer. Thank you! So your latest 1066 falls in on the list as, 41270 was located in Illinois and was for sale, yours 41303, and 41305 was located in Nebraska, and was auctioned off. Both your tractors are nice looking rigs! Did you purchase 41303 off of auction time by chance? Looks familiar?! Thanks again! There is a dealer sticker on it which is hard to read but it looks like it was sold in Iowa originally.
Farmall1066
Thank you for the information! I will get your entry updated. It has 56 series fenders, and I can see the shinier paint around the steering column, so I believe you are correct on it having a cab before you got it. Still, it’s a nice looking tractor!! Yes correct. Not sure what cab it would have been sold with when it was new. I like the open station look though. Thanks
Farmall1066
Being the cab line comes straight down from behind the fuel cap, my guess is the Diamond cab, a year around, or hiniker.
stronger800
I think my Delux style cabs would have left a line like that. Im gonna tip my eyes down and just ask though..... What's the difference in 06/56 and 66 style fenders? I have an o6/56 but the 66's all have cabs. I think if I put two side by side I would probably see it, but one at a time on here or over the last 41 years in the field.... I Didn't know they were different. jass1660
06/56 fenders had two light holes, 66 series only one.

It's not original but I like the looks of the double light on her. Probably won't ever know what cab it came with unless someone on here had the tractor or sold it originally. stronger800
I had no idea on the lights. Glad to hear though, since our 06/26/56 tractors all had the double lights, as they should then. I've seen the single light fenders, just figured they were a cost saving option that started some where along the way. With the 66's having two lights already in the grill, that makes sense. Thank you.

Yes you're right? The deluxe cabs would have left an angled line down the side. So that narrows it down to 3 cabs that it would have came with. redhead02
Picked up a early 1066 Hydro........2610163U0007222 in northeast TN. Supposedly it was bought and stayed in this area.
Robbo
I recently acquired this 1974 1066 Turbo. Runs great, came with a shredder, spring harrow, front end loader, front and rear hay spears, an auger and a pallet fork. No pics of the tractor yet because I have e all the tin off to do some maintenance and rewiring of the headlights, etc.
Farmall1066
Thank you guys for the recent serial numbers! Nate, I had 14876 list already, I must have got that at a red power show. But thank you for sending it to make sure I had it. 14876 fell in between 14859 which was located in MN, and was for sale, and 14877 was salvaged in WI. redhead02, thank you for your serial number! Could I get a name, location, and a general description of the tractor? You can personal message that information if you prefer. Your tractor 7222 fell in between 7196, which is located in IA, and 7226, located in Ontario Canada. Robbo, welcome to the forum, and thank you for your serial number! Could you send me you name, location, and if you post a picture of your tractor, it would be great to see it, even with the hoods off. Your tractor 31823 fell in between 31573, which is located in Nebraska, and 31880 was for sale in OH. Thanks again everyone for helping me with this!! Robbo
NAKED PICTURES!!! Not sure if the beast would appreciate me showing pics of it undressed but here they are. I took the sheet metal off to better assess what kind of attention it needs; so far, there are vacant spots in the wiring harness and there is a missing handle and linkage on the left side of the steering pedestal. The last pic shows a control rod sticking up with nothing attached and a rod below it with a rectangular tab with a hole in it. They both look like they had something to do in a former life. I need an operator's manual and repair manual if anyone has a lead on those. Thanks, and happy viewing!
Farmall1066
I’m wondering if the previous owner deleted the TA, (torque amplifier) looks like everything to do with the TA is missing, or the low side of the TA is bad, and they removed the linkage so not to use it? If the low side is out, but the tractor still does the job as it should, don’t worry about fixing it at the moment.

How would I know if the TA is bad?
