1066 registry

Blaine, new member here, gotta a couple of mine I would like to add to the registry... First is my 1973 open station turbo #26633. Next is my 1976 open station, duals, foot throttle, has 2 post rops but top is long gone. #55873. Now I know that technically this is one of the transition tractors from late '75 with original black stripe. But to me I just call it the '76 to keep it simple. Also this tractor has the SN tag on the bell housing, but the casting spot is also on the other side at bottom. Both here in western KY. 73 is completely restored, working on the black stripe now. berad80, thanks for your serial number! Yours falls in place between 41905 which was sold in SD, and 41922 which is located in Indiana. Could I get your name and location for your entry? You could pm it to me if you'd prefer.

onecincyfarmer, thanks for keeping watch for me in your area. So far this tractor falls in as follows, 49543 was forsale in NY, and 49778 was located in Illinois, and for sale.

856 Custom thanks for your serial number! So far your tractor falls in as follows, 25060 located in PA, for sale, and 25373 located in PA for sale, both at the same dealer. Could I get your name and location for your entry? You can pm me if you'd prefer.

Redpower1086 thanks for your serial number! The closest numbers to your tractor are, 54379 located in MN and was for sale, and 54508 sold on auction in PA, this is a Hi-Clear model. Could I also get your name and location for your entry?

Your numbers fall in place as follows, 26471 was located in Missouri, and for sale, 26708 was located in Indiana and for sale. 55827 is located in Kentucky, and 55890 is parted out in Ontario Canada. Could I also get your name and location for your entries?

Wow! Those are some nice looking 10's! Makes me a little jealous seeing those! Thanks for the serial numbers, and information. They placed in the registry as follows

55660 located in Illinois, and was for sale, and 55827 is located in Kentucky.

58377 was located in Texas, and was for sale, and 58392 was in Kansas, and also forsale.

59066 was on an auction in Indiana when found, and 59212 was located in Nebraska and also for sale.

we have 2 of em here, ill get the numbers tomorrow if i can remember, one actually came from illinois, dad lost his wallet mowin hay one day and was lookin for it and found another one from the original owner who had bought it new, the other one was purchased new by 6 flags great adventure by us when they started building it, and spent its days there on a stump grinder clearing lots for the theme park

Dual outlets, dual pto, diff lock, mech. seat, tilt wheel, three point, cab w/air. 4400 hours I purchased from the original owner last winter, he lives one mile down the road. Sold new at Farmington IL. He traded off a Farmall 450 gas when he bought this tractor.

Mine is s/n 15860. It has a deluxe cab and is located in Hillsboro, OH. It was my first tractor. I bought it when I was 18, some 16 years ago. I will send pictures when I get it repainted. Thanks for doing this. -John

Thanks for your serial number Bill! The nearest numbers to yours are 61241 located in Tennessee, and 61515 located in Pennsylvania and was for sale. That is a nice looking 10 you have! Could I get your last name to add with your serial number? You can pm me if you prefer.

sorry it took so long to get back, but first 10 is sittin in the shed right now, waiting for some clutch work, we just put a new motor in it about 4 years ago, that number is 7655. the other 10 i use for farm stock tractor pulling, she rarely goes back in the field now seeing that it burns fuel like its free now, the number on that one is 17339

Bought #18321 mid June. It too was around Bellefontaine Oh, like the other one. Year A Round on it along with the factory fenders. 4862 hrs, single remote, 18.4x38, 9.5Ls in the front. Has dealer decals from George Wannemacher, Ottoville, Ohio, so I assume it was sold there new. Gentleman I bought it from said he was the second owner.

farmall 1066 ,  i'm looking for my dads 1066 . he bought it 9-22-71 from dealer in joliet,Ill.   It was our big tractor for many years. we sold it private some years later , but we can't remember who. I was hoping it was on your list.

This is my 1976 1066 black stripe s/n 2610178U056969. It's a factory fender tractor, 10.00-16 fronts, 20.8R42 rears, 2 outlets, mechanical seat, no tilt wheel, I am the third owner, tractor was painted by owner before me. It originally was sold by somerset IH dealer in Pa, I have their original keychain on it yet lol

7655, nearest to this one were, 7561 located in MI, was for sale and have lost track, and 7689 located in MN and is a forum members tractor.

17339, nearest to this one, 17302 was auctioned in Canada, and 17379 was for sale in PA, and can’t relocate

 

856 custom your tractor 18321 is nearest to,

18296 located in MN, salvaged out, and 18340 was auctioned in WI

 

redneckchevy9 your tractor 15215 is nearest to

15150 located in IN, I believe is a forum members tractor, and 15237 was for sale in IA

Black stripe TEN your tractor 62030 is a nearest to

62012 was located in OH, for sale, and 62034 was highest in the Red Power magazine highest and lowest serial numbers, located in AR

farmerAl68 I do not have that serial number listed, but I will be watching for it!!

 

lorenzo the tractors you listed are as follows, the nearest to 57753 are 57724 auctioned in PA and 57785 forum members, located in the Netherlands.  And nearest to 61019 are 60946 located in MO, was sold, and I never received new info, and 61156 was sold on auction in WI.

56763 auctioned in IL and 57051 auctioned in Ontario Canada
