Farmall1066
I have loved the 1066's, since I was a young boy, now I have 2 myself, and my dad has 2, so I was wondering if anyone has started a registry of this model? If not I am looking forward to starting this one, like everyone else, I would like serial#, name of owner, town, and state located. I will even keep track of the retired (salvaged) 1066's. Thanks everyone!! Blaine
Nebraska1206
As far as I know, no one has started one. I'd kicked the idea around myself, but, considering that IH produced around 50,000 of those tractors, well, I knew I couldn't properly dedicate the time needed to keep a decent list. Around my area, a guy can't throw a rock & not hit a 1066, they are everywhere! I'd considered doing just a Blackstripe 1066 registry, still haven't decided on that. If you do start one, I'll be glad to send you as many numbers as I can. There will be a LOT!
farmall666
YES I WOULD HAVE TO ADMITT THERE ARE A LOT OF 1066S OUT THERE. IF YOU MAKE A LIST ALSO KEEP TRCK IF THEY ARE BLACKSTRIPES TO IF POSSIBLE. AND IF THEY ARE 4 X 4. THANKS

I am going to give it my best shot, I will try do the blackstripes seperate, and I will do the best I can to get every # sent to me, by pm's or just regular posts. I will give everyone a thank you if I have received your info, if you don't get a thanks watch for it, or pm me. With driving truck and working around the farm, some nights I don't have time to check in. All your help is appreciated. So send those #'s please. Thank you all!! Lunatic Fringe
I just purchased SN #56423. It is a 1975 Black Stripe. I bought it out of Pennsylvania and the fellow I got it from bought it out of New York. It has original paint with decals from the Delaware Farmers Exchange in the black stripe. The key chain was from Buckeye Tractor and Implement which I believe is the private dealership which used to be the co-op called Delaware Farmers Exchange. Farmall1066
Thanks to everyone that has given me their serial numbers, I am off to a good start, and I know there is along way to go, but thank you, and keep those numbers coming. Like I said, if your at the salvage yards, and find 1066 carcases, get the numbers, they will go in as R.I.P. Again, thanks for helping me off to a good start!! laportej
Here's a pic of mine. How do you like that step you've got on there? I've been tossing around the idea of putting a set of those on my 1066. I'm not fond of the ones that came with the Hiniker cab. Not exactly the safest thing to get up and off of.
