Another quote " I said move out where I can see you tubby, now move!" Another quote "Dog" One of my my favorite movies from a more innocent time in my life. What was the blonde haired sons motorcycle in the movie? And were the cars the sherrif took off in model T's or some other car? Those are all 1913 Model T Fords. A beautiful sight, but it kinds of refutes what was printed there in guesswork. Gary😉 2

Old Binder Guy
An early Christmas wish in pioneer central Montana. Charles M. Russell painting of Santy Claus and his reindeer pulling his sled at the homestead. This is one excited little girl, waiting for Daddy to return with a dolly for Christmas. I think Santa may use this Model T Uber this Christmas? Those reindeer were old when I was a kid. Christmas carolers sing to this couple in their ca. 1907 Model K Ford Touring Car. I love this Christmas Card scene with the ca. 1910 Model T Ford Touring Car at the mansion. A Christmassy steam locomotive in winter. An Avery undermounted steam traction engine gets in on the Christmas greetings as well. 1930 Christmas in Lewistown, Montana with Grandpa Hamilton's 1926 Model T Ford Coupe for a background. My mother is 3rd from the left. Grandma Yaeger's Christmas card. This automobile showroom has this 1926 Model T Ford Roadster Pickup all in the Christmas spirit. Chained up on all four wheels. It should go just about anywhere. Even IHC Titans can get into the Christmas spirit. Roger has felt just plain terrible that he hasn't been able to get Anson to deliver the watermelons and MY 1912 IHC AutoWagon. I think Roger is preparing to just drive it here to Helena through the snow himself. He has the rear wheels and "tires" all roped up. Was I the only farm kid that wanted one of these "Sorry, Too expensive" farm sets? Merry Christmas Pilgrims! And I can't forget my IH Tractor on a Montana Farm either. This is the most favorite IH tractor I've ever owned. It was a snow plowing beast too. And friends of this thread, don't forget the real meaning of Christmas. God's provision for our Eternal Salvation came in an immaculate conception, a virgin birth of His Son; a baby, who led a perfect sinless life. An acceptance of Him on our part is the necessary part. Merry Christmas! Gary🦽
Sledgehammer
Gary, I remember seeing part of that farm set in toys belonging to my father and uncle. Just the barn, a silo, and single bay garage. I wonder if there were different versions? The buildings were tin and the silo was a heavy press board. Dad turns 70 today. Still working at his own Vet practice 6 days a week and feeding his cattle twice a day.

I do remember the tin barn and a silo. Happy Birthday today to your dad! May he have many more years of health and stamina for his work. He certainly is to be admired! Quick to listen and slow to act. Every action is planned and thought out. Never put his foot in his mouth. Has taught Sunday school in some fashion for probably 40 years. Shoes I will never be good enough in my mind to fill. Never heard him utter a curse word and doesn’t know what beer tastes like. I know I’m partial, but you could look a long long time and not find another like him. I’m sure most of us feel that way about our Father though 😊

TN Hillbilly, thank you. Here are some of the regulars. (Not Farmalls) Trying to keep coffee made and on hand. There's part of an IH Tractor on a Montana Farm in this picture. Ready for the threshing crew. My mother's coffee urn is here at the apartment. It's a newer style, but it is pushing 70 years old. A couple of cups I painted on in my young years. Personal cups. Now I suppose I'm going to have to get a city license for this coffee shop? Gary🦽
twostepn2001
They ain't no telling how much a comparable toy set like that would cost today. l mean with today's 1/64th scale toys. Probably a couple of hundred dollars alone not counting a similar type building.

He gets a "pass." But other than the month of December, it requires Poky Dot caps. 5

You're making a few of us OLD guys envious, I hope you know?!! Those are beautiful little girls, your great grandkids. You are a very blessed man to have them at this time of your life. Do they live quite a ways away? We have two great grandkids and they're about 300 miles and three good size mountain passes in between us. My wife can't travel well anymore. We haven't seen ours for a year and a half. Our daughter, their "Mimi" (Grandmother) sends us photos. This one was a while back, since they know what snow is at Spokane, WA.
