Diesel Doctor Posted September 9 Posted September 9 Other than a very few networks, how can their news organizations stay alive? Their viewership has declined to almost zero. Our local CBS affiliate is showing afternoon local shows only as fillers. Either the affiliate can't afford afternoon programming or CBS is putting none out. What is it? Hollywood has shot themselves in the foot so many times that apparently even game shows are leaving. Movies are made elsewhere. How many jobs were lost there, Gavin? I can see networks going Bankrupt in the near future. And rightfully so! 1 Quote

I'm trying to figure out the advertising associated with the local news. Ambulance chasing lawyer goes with low income demographic based on content but 60,000 dollar plus vehicles do not. I am told that younger higher income liberals do not get their news from local broadcast sources. Is advertising being subsidized to make it appear that educated people watch and by who? 2 Quote
