No online results, but I've seen a few highlights posted here and there. The 1066 and indy Ford truck each brought north of 30k.

i will bite my tongue but why would a 1066 be worth that much ? was it rare in some way ?

I was there. Great sale, for the sellers! 1066, $34,000. It was nice but?????

I talked to a gentleman shooting video, Tractor talk with Gary. I'll post a link when he gets it done.

I spent $80, plow parts. Big surprise, right? Regardless, had a great time! Talked with @IH Forever quite a bit. Always good to meet a board member in person.

Had a bit of interest in the 715 combines but had some stuff needing done and didn`t make it to the sale, You wouldn`t happen to know what they sold for?

They like just stopped in 1984.  Nothing newer and clicked along.  Were things in good care at least?

 

Old bachelor farms are always interesting.  A 77 yo Berry/dairy guy here just sold his last 60 head.  Only 1 os 2 guy i know who been jersey over 50 years.  Still out managing raspberries.  Has alot of equipment but little rough.  Dont think anything he has had has ever left the yard.  Old JD and Krause wagons.  4 mixers prob, old flail choppers.  Then new Kubota wheel loader and a Cat tele.  And he loads feed with a 7710 JD... nice fella.  Still sleeps in the same room where he slept as a boy in the basement.  He is buddys uncle...says the kitchen table is papers an there is a spot where he sits and eats.  Otherwise the house is same as when grandma died 20 years ago.

Most everything was in excellent shape and appeared to have very little use.  All the implements had good paint and original decals, they must have had more shed space than just at the farm site where the sale was held as it would take a lot to get that all under roof.  

I did not stay for the tractors to sell.  But everything I watched sold well.  I didn't really see any deals, but many things were probably a once in a lifetime chance to buy something of that vintage in the condition it was.

Everything I was interested in brought more than I was willing to pay.  Not saying they weren't worth it but more than I could part with right now.  There was a really nice IH #40 blade I would have liked.  Brought around $2,600.  They also had a really nice Honda Big Red 3 wheeler I was interested in.  Honda 3 wheelers seem to bring good money right now, but it brought somewhere around $5,700 which is more than I expected.  They also had a Yamaha 250 Exciter motorcycle with only 416 miles I was interested in.  It didn't bring that much but didn't have a title, I wasn't sure how much of a hassle it would be to get a title and get it licensed.

  There is a very hot market for good original implements.  A John Deere 925 roller harrow in very good condition sold for 2,800 dollars earlier this year.  It was 10 ft wide which would show off very well with a 45-50 HP vintage tractor at an event.

Can’t fathom a Honda Big Red selling for over $5,000.  Definitely collector value.

My sons were at the auction and came home with a few small things and had visited with some of the locals. One said he doubted if some of the tractors had ever seen road gear since all they farmed was within a mile. Family seemed to be buying some. Guy said a cousin wanted the 544 so when it came up he told auctioneer ten thousand and there were no other bids.

Graves had a video of the Indy Pace truck selling.  Hammered sold at $35,000.  He purchased 4 of the combines.   Selling the 310 engines out of them.  Saw some results online:

3088 open station $18,000.

3088 ROPS $22,000.

3288  $36,000.

5088  $42,500.

5288  $39,000.

A couple of years ago there was a sale close around here, I was told Graves came up and bought most of the older tractors up, I did look at their ad, they were posting about an online auction, over 1700 items, is it their own or are they on with another company, didt realize that all the trips to the Mayo in Rochester, am pretty sure we were close az I think we drove thru Zumbro Falls. Never think of them for used parts, they must have a bunch?

Yes, they have tons of used parts! I was really looking forward to seeing them at Huron.
