naedlaen Posted June 2 Posted June 2 FarmTek might make what you need or can custom make it. Unless of course, it is a FarmTek building I would investigate the weight of the fabric used and then buy a heavier fabric cover. I think it looks like a combination of UV and wind damage. Neal 1 1 Quote

TroyDairy Posted June 2 Posted June 2 Farmtek Fwiw... i know guys who have gotten the Hay tarpping/stack covering guys to sew up new covers foe hoops. They work great i guess. More HD. Also there are a few 20+ year old cover-all barns here as shops. They were only brand that lived. Esp is they are open ended. The closed up ones seem to blow up quicker. 1 Quote

At 1/3 or less life. coverall and the canadian iterations are the ONLY game worth $$.1/2$ (20+ yrs) $0 Tax saving in 90% of country now, dont know your size ? save the $3-5-12K start with a 40(60)x 20-30 stick . save the $1-3K/yr (rent) on this. Bank it and each 5 yr add another 20' on otherwise go to BFG etal greenhouse supply buy the GOOD double visqueen and uv shade cover.....we did, get 15yrs out of those. Quonset.....? just the cold facts ......coverall had very hard times with sourced poor materials , to stave 2-8x $ increase early ,now 20x $ China jumped on and DONT care < 7yr 1 Quote

tractorholic Posted June 2 Posted June 2 I have been to Troyer tarps 3 times to pickup covers over the last ten years. They make tarps/covers for a few brands I’m guessing. They always have a bunch ready to ship anytime I have been there. I have several hoop buildings. I haven’t had snow ruin any covers. Old age and one small tornado got mine 1 Quote
Dirt_Floor_Poor Posted June 2 Posted June 2 We have some Farm-Tek buildings. They were originally to feed hogs in, but they have calves in them now. We have changed a few covers, but they have all lasted really well. It’s a major job to put a cover on a large building. 1 Quote

He ended up “winning it”, then he didn’t know what to do! Decided to ship it to me instead of paying extra to get it up to Fairbanks. I would have never bought it but it is nice to have. Quote

So far we did ,two in a row .also have many helpful neighbors to hold it down while you in sort the hold down wire s . I would figure out how to lift the roll to the peak roll out entire ridge and fold down sides in calm wind 💨. Easier sad than done. ✅ fork lift if you got one. 1 Quote

Every hoop I have the cover is unrolled and prepared on one side of the building and pulled over the top with ropes. I don’t know how you could unroll it on top and fold it down the sides. My 42 x200 cattle building was pulled over the top as well as my smaller ones Mine lasted 18 years. Except for the one the tornado hit Quote
