...I know I have asked this same question ..some many months ago, ...but at the risk of incurring your displeasure, Lorenzo,

..how is the back end holding up on this smaller version, of your glamourous  ,dual wheeled   560 ??

..do you suffer from the same scorn ...that the 560 seems to attract....as the neighbouring peasants descend upon your place..with their   corn whiskey  warped  minds.. their  pitchforks   and flaming torches ...??

Mike

Something about the 806 where there is no place to sit and can't see myself steering...

Driving home from Cody, WY today. Seeing lots of tractors alone the way. Spring field work is commencing in the valley south of Billings.

Stopped in Bridger, MT just for a second to take a picture of this W-6 on display.

Saw a couple big tractors near Spiro Oklahoma today. The 4366 is very similar to mine but looks to be in better shape.

Question for you from across the pond.

Why do some tractors have license plates and others don't?

Can be a few reasons for that - but most tractors only have their numberplates on the back, so you wouldn't see them in these pictures.. Agricultural vehicles by law dont require a plate on the front and back like our cars do.

Didnt have the camera but i visited my neighbors IH SHEDS yesterday! He has several that were bought new here and never left the area. Also has a 4100 and several big ones ----H-50 gas engine Payloader.

Got several smaller IH here ---- 2444 i guess is my fav since i mow roads and waterways with it all summer. 504 is on tiller duty. 340 is on the big water tanker ---127 kinda dead in the water right now--- was pullin the mower with it ---carb messed up ---another problem to fix!! 147 still in the shed --- did use it on the snow blade a few years ago.

last but not least is the 1800 and the batwing mower --- they were a lifesaver mowing the crp farm in Feb.

Mower after 137 acres of big bluestem went under it!

Saw this one sitting at a farm yard last week.

Is it a custom job or did CaseIH make some like that?

IMG_8730.jpegI tried to post a zoomed in picture of it but won’t load. It’s a Steiger with white on top of the hood, cab and fuel tank.

My Guess is a custom job of some sort.

Looks like my renter is getting ready to knock down the sunflower and corn stalks in our fields. This was parked in my pasture this morning. He's had this old girl for a long time. It used to be his big tractor at one time but he's got other red tracked machines and others with tires now. I think she does mostly field prep nowadays.
