ComancheStarFarms Posted January 21 Posted January 21 Can anyone ID this twisted hose on the Hydro 70 gasoline engine. This can’t be the proper configuration can it? I don’t yet have the parts catalog. 1 Quote
HydroTek Posted January 21 Posted January 21 LoL not supposed to be like that the correct hose is short , curved to fit in the space 437575C3 same bypass hose used on several of the engines Quote
ComancheStarFarms Posted January 21 Author Posted January 21 But it does add an intriguing custom touch! Thank you HydroTek. I’ll check with Jacobi’s in the morning! - Jonathan Quote
HydroTek Posted January 21 Posted January 21 The 'new' hose will have to be cut off on one end to fit unless they still have one of the originals May have met you at the shop -- I was there for 47 years Retired now -- raising cattle and messing around on the forums LoL Quote

stronger800 Posted January 21 Posted January 21 I’ve gone to the auto store, looking for a curved hose before, and bought a 3’ hose with the right curve that I was looking for, and cut that tiny curved part out of it to use. Also recently bought some 90 and 180 degree molded hoses off of Amazon, just for purposes like that. I got a few 180’s with perfectly tight molded corners. Pretty much folded right back on itself, without the fold, pretty reasonable. My sister is a veterinarian with a small fleet of service bodies on pickups. Heater off the motor coolant, with t stats etc. I do the plumbing sometimes 1 Quote
460 Posted January 22 Posted January 22 A good auto parts store will have that in stock. Many carss in the 60-70's used a bypass hose off the water pump. Think I got mine from Orilys, asked if I could go in the back and look, found one close enough for my 656. I do like the temporary fix! Quote
Maynard Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Current part number is 437575C3 $20.55 Will need a little trim job to fit. 1 Quote
ComancheStarFarms Posted January 23 Author Posted January 23 Thank you Maynard for the big help! Quote
