About normal here.  60s high 40s at night.  Partly cloudy...got 2 inchs rain sunday then sprinkled couple times since.  Majority of silage is all put in.  No grain grown here

Spuds are going hard though.  Have to let skins set before digging

Last Fall was hot and dry, this Fall is hotter and dryer, the creek that runs through the home farm is all but dried up.

Soybeans are 12 % moisture in the morning and 9 % by 1  in the afternoon

Yes, in the mid to upper 80s here in Northern Indiana.  My last soybeans were in the 9s.

Been pretty warm here in central Iowa lately. I wrapped up harvest yesterday, October third! Wettest load of corn was 15.3%, dry stuff was mid 13's. Supposed to cool off and rain Monday, maybe should have let it get rained on to bring the moister back?

Forest fire danger is raising daily! We've gone on two leaf peak rides and the maples have curled up their leaf's and fallen off.

At 0700 today  04 OCT 25 in north Dallas / McKinney it was 62F. H for 03 Oct 2025 was 92; glad I got the AC back on line, since we bought  this house in 2005 this makes the 3'rd run capacitor for the compressor / condenser fan to go bad, pays to be able to make our own repairs.  No rain expected in next week.

Good luck with yours farming! My Bodoc has doubled in size this year. Nothing grows  like a native plant in Texas!

Supposed to be 85 today in the Thumb. 62 last night. Soybeans are too dry to thresh. Loads going in at 9-10%.

We've been running 11%

We were close to 90 yesterday but 59 so far today in Central ND. A little rain this morning too.

Spread lawn fall  fertilizer on the lawn very early morning to take advantage of the dew. Good coverage .
It’s supposed to rain and cool down Tuesday . So I think these warm days will burn down the weeds .

Happy for the warm days in north East Ohio .

The beans are in pretty good shape here. We’ve been running on them for a week.
