Sledgehammer Posted June 27, 2025 Author Posted June 27, 2025 Sorry if I get a few doubles. Things come and go and I'm not always sure what I've seen before. 12 2 Quote
Sledgehammer Posted June 27, 2025 Author Posted June 27, 2025 The regular is a real cool piece. Still has dirt on the cultivator shanks. 11 3 Quote

It is not an IH piece of equipment. They were not merged at the time of when this was made. Just like case and IH. Two separate companies. If we are letting in steigers then are we letting in allis and ford built steigers? Steps off soapbox 3 Quote

Any way you could get the serial number off the regular without cultivators? And a hundred series on steel? What an odd duck. Super cool. Thanks for posting all of these. Quote
Tunneldigger Posted June 27, 2025 Posted June 27, 2025 Thank you people for posting. I really wanted to go but cultivating and wheat to cu 😞 Quote

They also have the complete letter series and many 66. They try to use all of them a few hours a year, augers, mowing, etc. The 54FWD is used on a ripper each fall. All those FWA in their work clothes on display, those wouldn't by chance be owned by the Spoo brothers, would they? 1 Quote

If we are letting in steigers then are we letting in allis and ford built steigers? Steps off soapbox Steiger history became part of IH history when IH bought a third of the company in 1974. Not to mention all of the IH four-wheel-drive’s that came out of the Steiger factory. If it wasn’t for that tractor, the 4366 may never have existed or at least never have existed in the form it eventually came to be. You can’t talk about the largest ag tractors that IH ever marketed without talking about Steiger. Just my opinion. 6 3 1 Quote

junkandcattle Posted June 27, 2025 Posted June 27, 2025 Thanks for all the pictures. I should be down there since it is only 90 miles south of me. Unfortunately it is not in the cards. 2 Quote
