856 fuel lines / and seat

hi all my fuel line joints have what i believe are thick rubber  o-rings and im after a new set 

 

also on a side note im after a new seat but am struggling to get one here in the uk any body have a idea who will ship to the uk

Are you on the fuel injection pump line connections? Those are not orings, they are I believe neoprene? But you can also get a metal type seal, I’ve been having better luck with the metal.

As far as a seat, search K&M manufacturing, or tractorseats.com

This is what you need.  Cummins uses these on engines as well.   You just need to size them with the line you are trying to seal.   Make sure you get all the old hard one out of the nut.

I have used rubber 3/8 fuel line and cut off the amount needed.

Worked just fine.

Tef tape also works -- roll it into a string , then wrap 3 or 4 turns around the end of the old packing

Best to get new packing sleeves from the dealer -- you can also get them from McMaster Carr
