Absent Minded Farmer Posted May 14, 2025 Posted May 14, 2025 Managed to catch the anvil of a waning storm over by Reedsville, in front of the sunset. Wanted to run back to the house get my camera, but it would have been too dark to use the lens & color correction filter I needed by the time I found everything, put it all together, etc, etc.. Quite happy I got what there was. It was still very well defined & you could see light coming through, where the anvil had straightened into the column below it. We have a decent chance of seeing bigger anvils on Thursday. May be even worse for those in NW WI, on into part of Michigan's split personality. Keep an eye on the weather up there eh!!
