1586 Jeff Posted April 28 Posted April 28 Shortest sunset that I have ever seen. The sun was below the horizon for literally three minutes before it rose again! Incidentally it was the first sunset that I had seen in three and a half months there at McMurdo Station…. That was at 01:30 NZDT on February 20th. This past Friday, April 24th, the sun set and will not rise again down there until mid October! 9 Quote
CRVB91 Posted April 28 Posted April 28 5 hours ago, Gabriella Cook said: CRVB91, have you seen the cliffs of Dover? Indeed, I have... I grew up in Sidcup, which is a part of Kent closer to London - the cliffs are on the Kent coast southeast of where I grew up, they were around an hour from home but we went there a few times growing up... We later moved to the South West of England when I was 10.. quite a culture shock to move from the city to the countryside but its the best thing I think my parents could have done for us, they still have their London accents whereas I sound a little more west country, although it really depends on who I've been spending more time with 😅 6 Quote
CRVB91 Posted May 17 Posted May 17 I live in a village that sits in the bottom of a gorge and have been going on a lot of walks the past couple weeks to clear my head. Lucky enough to see this stunning sunset 😍 (the reservoir in the background) 11 Quote

DT Fan Posted June 7 Posted June 7 I don't get very many sunset pictures. My view faces East. Tonight it just looked like it would be worth my time to go look. 11 Quote

Gearclash Posted June 13 Posted June 13 Baling wheat hay during sunset last evening. 12 hours seat time yesterday between raking and baling. Based on the aching legs at the end of the day I’m thinking I might not be 18 anymore 6 Quote

Loadstar Posted June 19 Posted June 19 Some of the best views I've had are through the window of a tractor. Like this one from last night. 8 Quote
