Shortest sunset that I have ever seen.  The sun was below the horizon for literally three minutes before it rose again!

Incidentally it was the first sunset that I had seen in three and a half months there at McMurdo Station….

That was at 01:30 NZDT on February 20th.  This past Friday, April 24th, the sun set and will not rise again down there until mid October!

CRVB91, have you seen the cliffs of Dover?

Indeed, I have... I grew up in Sidcup, which is a part of Kent closer to London - the cliffs are on the Kent coast southeast of where I grew up, they were around an hour from home but we went there a few times growing up... We later moved to the South West of England when I was 10.. quite a culture shock to move from the city to the countryside but its the best thing I think my parents could have done for us, they still have their London accents whereas I sound a little more west country, although it really depends on who I've been spending more time with 😅

I live in a village that sits in the bottom of a gorge and have been going on a lot of walks the past couple weeks to clear my head.

Lucky enough to see this stunning sunset 😍

I don't get very many sunset pictures. My view faces East. Tonight it just looked like it would be worth my time to go look.

Baling wheat hay during sunset last evening.
12 hours seat time yesterday between raking and baling.  Based on the aching legs at the end of the day I’m thinking I might not be 18 anymore

Not quite sunset but close enough to get the fall pairs home and corraled before it got too dark to see

After a hot windy day, it turned into a beautiful evening

Calves got weaned today so good start to the weekend

Some of the best views I've had are through the window of a tractor. Like this one from last night.

Friend sent me this pic early this morning. He took it yesterday afternoon near Moriarty, New Mexico.
