Case eagle

During WW2 Case in a publicity stunt wanted all dealers to donate their Old Abe floor display's to the scrap drives. I remember as a kid the local Case dealer who had been in business since the 1920's had one on display. I wonder where it went.

I had a wooden drill with cool Case eagles cast in the side plates. Machine had been shed all it's life. I used the grass seeder. A woman bought it as a planter. I told her it wouldn't last a year outside if she didn't use some sort of wood preservative. It had original paint and stencils inside the boxes. 

Cast Case eagle had great detail.

Fraternities at Ashland college in Ashland Ohio used to take them . 
They are the nicknamed the Eagles 🦅
