TD9-91 shifter repair

Recommended Posts

My shifter is very sloppy probably something broken down in there too. It gets stuck in forward or reverse and is hard to get back into neutral. I have a drott loader on it so its not quite as easy to service as the stock crawler.

I've gotten most of the bolts loose on the top of the case, but have a few questions... (as well as a couple rounded off bolts I still have yet to remove).

Where should I take the steering clutch levers loose to remove the top of the case?

I do have manuals for most of this but wasnt' sure about that part.

You need to remove the booster springs 25, take the pins 8,11, out of the steering clutch turnbuckles 13,15, remove the clutch operating turnbuckles 14,24, remove the crossbolt holding the steering shaft 12, push the shaft out, the levers will come out, then the transmission cover will come off.
