JD 6030. Tach says 7,000 hrs.  This is the 2nd one they had.  One of the brothers is keeping the first one and they are willing to sell this one to me.  Also it still has the 531 not a 619 and the other one still had the 531

Full story here.  This was a neighbor who for his entire life time just accumulated lots of stuff mostly junk or ended up being junk.  Every time something broke he either parked it or started to work on the problem and this gave up as you can see.  He passed away this year and now his two sons are going to start cleaning up a little.  There was lots of other stuff I didn't take a picture of.  Semi trucks and engines everywhere.  He probably had almost a dozen old IH trucks from the KB series up to the L series.

I’ve never understood, why do they take the hoods off? How much damage comes from that I always wonder.

He was famous for taking hoods off, leaving doors open on equipment, and using one battery just moving it around from tractor to tractor

The nearest JD dealer back in the 1960's sold one 5010 new.  I never got to see it, sadly.

Good land…..

Two Deere tractors I would like to have. A 7020 then a 4630 since my grandpa had two of them at one time.

Lots of neat stuff. Thanks for sharing BBG.

We had a guy here like that. Might not have been that bad off to begin with, until they sat for years with the hood off.

That IH crawler that is supposed to run is either the last TD18 182 or the first TD 20's 200 or 201

The power unit looks really tidy, maybe UD14?

I believe they called it an 18.  The power unit I think is a 14
