That 856 is no ta. Here are a couple pictures of wheatland 806. Apparently they could be ordered with either fender wide or narrow. But always 18.4 tires. First tractor was auction we bought our red power 1486 from. Second tractor was tractor house picture but obviously had 38 1206 wheels. Last picture is my brothers And mine 806. We also have a 806 standard with pto, big fenders and 18.4 tires bought new by my grandfather. That is a standard tractor.

Wheatland or standar?

It's not a rice special.image.png.f73bfd78ff31b2d9a60b5da0135fb88d.png

Bigger tires but no TA and Wheatland sticker or badge. I’d call it a standard. Could be wrong.

Ahh we may have something here. This one has the Wheatland sticker, 18.4, narrower fenders, and no TA but reads like you could get a PTO?

Anyone have this sheet for the 1206 Wheatland? I found one but its too blurry to read

The pto  mentioned in the add. Was the pto hp tractor was advertised with. Interesting thing I will have to look at is the air. cleaner indicator. Add doesn’t mention fender width just the rear platform. Dad did mention the 806 wheatland his farming buddy had came with bolt on duals but he didn’t want them so they took the bolt on duals off then he later bought a band dual set. Dads 806 standard had the short axles with single tires when new.

I wondered. That’s why I was unsure how to interpret that.

I’ve always found interesting how the Wheatland’s had the narrower fenders and tires and the standards had wide fenders and larger tires. At least thats how I’ve seen a lot of them.

Looks to me like great grandpas had the same axle length as spec sheet, just had the large cast weights. Here is that tractor about two years after the first was taken. Notice there are only 34 inch duals. After a couple years they had a pair of 38’s for it.
