New Holland 56 rake

Recommended Posts

I have new 12 and 14 foot rotary rakes, either of them can do a field at  about the same speed as the pair of 256s. I feel the rotary stands hay up better to promote further drying , if you need the wind to go through it at all. They are also very operator friendly.   When you roll up a windrow with a roll-a-bar rake and then  the wind blows, they can roll right away. S  shaped rows are no fun.
I have over 200 hours on the rotary rakes this year, and about an hour and a half on the new Hollands.

Had to look that up. 30’ monster. No idea that thing existed. Twin rotaries are common around here.  Can’t justify one

I saw 1 on Tractorhouse for $50,000.  I may need to expand my operation a little to justify that.
