Mudfly
Who was is on here that bought one a few years ago that had a 826 front end on it (pretty sure that was the case), and then had the original 1026 front end to put back on. There were pictures on a trailer. This one appears to have approximately the same patina if I remember correctly. Pretty sure he was trying to resell it without actually putting up an add. Edit - found it. I1026 front with 806 rear. Not the same one. Edited September 20 by Mudfly Found topic

He posted an update later and had pictures of the International 1026 complete and posted pictures of the correct tag.

It found a new home temporarily the way it looks. I saved a picture from the first time it was sold. Note the patina in several areas, rear wheels, tires, and weights, paint spots on the muffler, and the extra light mounted above the stock cab lights. Same machine when put back together with the original rear end.

With rare stuff it seems like the same ones are ALWAYS for sale and they usually aren’t the best examples. I should go back and read more, did he end up sending the rear end out to be fixed before rejoining them?

Why would you buy a standard and with the Hydro? But it would be a terrific snow blower power unit. I would be surprised if you could not count all these made on one hand. 59 seems like a lot. That is rarer than rare which equals the price?

In wheat or cattle country this tractor would have pulled a 402 pull type combine or later on been handy on a hay buster stacker or the bread loaf stacking machines of the time. There was use in big prairie country for 3 pt equipment until later on in the 80s

I just meant that this one is a standard tread machine making it more rare which will up an asking price most likely compared to a row crop machine. Sorry, I didn’t clarify that well.
